Bulgarian citizen – An employee of the European Union Office in the country was seriously injured in the Kosovo town of Djakova, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced, quoted by Dariknews.bg.
The Embassy of Bulgaria in Pristina maintains constant contact with the competent authorities of the host country, which have initiated pre-trial proceedings on suspicion of attempted murder.
According to the latest information from our diplomatic mission there, the victim has been admitted to a medical facility in the Kosovo capital, and his condition is currently stable.
The Bulgarian representatives on site are ready to provide the necessary assistance and will visit our compatriot at the earliest opportunity, according to the recommendations of the medical team, the MFA said.
