Ukrainian Justice Minister Removed - 1

The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada (parliament) voted to remove Justice Minister German Galushchenko from office. 323 deputies voted for his dismissal, UNIAN reported, quoted by BTA.

On November 12, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received a request from the Prime Minister of Ukraine to dismiss German Galushchenko from the post of Justice Minister. The reasons for the dismissal are not specified in the document, UNIAN reports.

On November 11, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) released audio recordings of conversations of participants in the large-scale embezzlement scheme at the state nuclear company "Energoatom". It is likely that there are also recordings of conversations of the former Minister of Energy, and now Minister of Justice German Galushchenko.

We are talking about corruption schemes.

UNIAN recalls that at an extraordinary government meeting on November 12 - a day after the publication of these recordings - a decision was made to remove Galushchenko from the post of Minister of Justice. By a government decision, the functions of the minister were assigned to Deputy Minister of Justice for European Integration Lyudmila Sugak. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko submitted a proposal to parliament to dismiss Galushchenko from office.
