The leaders of the European countries of the so-called A coalition of those willing insisted on continuing and intensifying the sanctions pressure on Moscow during a video conference call with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
“Since the language of pressure is the only one that Russia understands, we will continue to intensify it until a sincere desire to participate in a dialogue to achieve peace is shown,“ she wrote on the social network “Ex“.
According to her, the Coalition will continue to support Ukraine, and a key topic of the conversation was its financing, including the possible use of frozen Russian sovereign assets.
