A 12-year-old boy was killed when a Russian drone hit a residential building in the Sinelnikovsky municipality of Dnipropetrovsk region. The message was published on Telegram by the head of the regional military-civil administration, Vladislav Gaivanenko, quoted by the BBC, reports News.bg.
According to Gaivanenko, two more people, probably the boy's parents, were injured. One of the houses was completely destroyed, and another was seriously damaged, and a fire broke out on the spot. Rescue teams worked through the night to pull victims from the rubble.
The Russian military has not yet commented on the attack.
The same night, the Ukrainian Air Force reported a massive attack by a total of 137 Russian drones, of which about 90 were strike drones. According to the morning report, 80 drones were shot down or neutralized by electronic warfare, but 57 hits were still recorded in 13 different settlements.
Dnipropetrovsk region is one of the regions most affected by the attack, local authorities confirm.
