Russia has launched nine Tu-95MS strategic bombers and three Tu-16 missile carriers, the Telegram channel "Military Informant" reported.
According to the channel, the planes are either at launch pads for cruise missiles or are on their way to them. Further details about the crews' routes and missions were not disclosed.
The press service of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reported that Ukrainian air defense systems and F-16 fighter jets are unable to intercept Russian air targets.
As reported by Military Watch magazine, the Ukrainian armed forces are losing air defense assets faster than Kiev's Western allies can replace them. The publication notes that the rate of destruction of air defense systems has significantly exceeded the ability of Western allies to continuously supply weapons.
