Law enforcement has identified the suspect in the Brown University shooting as a 48-year-old Portuguese man, Providence, Rhode Island Police Chief Oscar Perez said.
“This man is Claudio Neves Valente, a 48-year-old Portuguese citizen,“ he said at a news conference.
“He took his own life tonight.“ Earlier, Fox News, citing sources, reported that the body of the shooting suspect was found in a warehouse in New Hampshire.
On the evening of December 13, a shooting broke out at Brown University in Providence. Two people were killed and nine others were injured.
