Moscow confirms: Ukraine peace talks in Abu Dhabi to resume on Sunday - 1

Trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States to resolve the conflict in Ukraine in Abu Dhabi will resume on Sunday, Russian news agency Interfax reported, citing the Kremlin, BTA reports.

The first round of trilateral peace talks took place at the same venue last weekend, Reuters reports.

Nearly 1.2 million Russian soldiers have been wounded or killed in the nearly four-year war in Ukraine, the Washington think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) reported, quoted by DPA.

In a report published yesterday, the center estimated that 325,000 Russian soldiers have been killed since February 2022. For Ukraine, losses are estimated at 500,000 to 600,000 soldiers, including 100,000 to 140,000 killed.

The center states that its data is based on information from intercepted communications, intelligence agencies and governments of various countries.
