Russia's air defense forces have repelled a drone attack in the Rostov Region. One person was injured, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel.
Drones were destroyed in Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Bataysk, Novoshakhtinsk and the Azov Region.
„A man was injured in Bataysk - a truck driver who was injured in a drone strike. The victim was hospitalized in moderately serious condition. According to preliminary medical assessments, his life is not in danger“, Slyusar wrote.
He added that a total of five vehicles, which were parked in the parking lots of an agricultural enterprise and a warehouse, were damaged in the attack in Bataysk. There is no fire.
In addition, the facade and windows of a private house in a private neighborhood were damaged in Novoshakhtinsk.
Fighters from the “West” group of the Russian armed forces repelled a counterattack by the Ukrainian armed forces near Blagodatovka in the Kupyansk sector, killing six militants, Ivan Bigma, head of the group’s press center, reported.
"In the Kupyansk sector, a counterattack by a mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces was repelled within 24 hours near the village of Blagodatovka. Six militants were killed," he said.
Nine ground-based robotic systems of the Ukrainian armed forces were also destroyed.
Air defense teams and mobile fire groups from the “West” group downed a HIMARS missile, two guided aerial munitions, 19 fixed-wing drones, and 69 heavy combat quadcopters. They also identified and destroyed 51 drone control points and a Starlink satellite communications station.
