Criminals from all over the world are trying to hide on the island of Bali, the Indonesian prosecutor's office reported.
„Now, for example, Bali has already become a convenient place for fugitives related to drug crimes and other serious crimes“, the department replied, adding that this also applies to criminals of Russian origin.
The Attorney General's Office stressed that the Indonesian authorities want to prevent the country from becoming a "safe haven" for criminals hoping to avoid punishment.
„It cannot be allowed that one day they will calmly and unnoticed arrive and hide on the territory of Indonesia“, the department noted.
