Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan believes that fulfilling the minimum conditions for stopping the US and Israeli attacks on Iran and starting negotiations may require time and a series of military operations.
„We are negotiating with our partners whether we can return the warring parties to the negotiating table, when the aggressor will stop or be ready to stop its attacks. And in this context, the minimum condition arises – bringing Iran to a state of military incompetence, which suits its opponents. The minimum condition is ending the war, and the maximum is regime change. In other words, the war can end at the earliest with the destruction or neutralization of key military capabilities, and at the latest – with regime change in Iran. However, fulfilling this minimum condition will require a certain period of time and a certain series of military operations“, quoted the “Yeni Şafak“ newspaper.
Fidan emphasized that “Iran is a vast territory“, in which “missile, radar, anti-aircraft, electronic warfare systems and naval forces are located in different parts“.
