Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced today that experts from Ukraine will travel to the Middle East next week to provide their experience in countering Iranian drones, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
"I expect that when the experts arrive on site, they will analyze the situation and provide the necessary assistance, because they come with the necessary capacity," Zelensky said during a press conference.
The president specified that the initiative is mutually beneficial for both countries. Kiev hopes in return to receive missiles for its US Patriot air defense systems, which remain critically important for the country's defense against Russian missile attacks, AFP notes.
