The foreign ministers of the member states are expected to adopt additional sanctions against Russia at their meeting in Brussels today.
The situation in the Middle East and Ukraine will be a major part of its agenda. Their Ukrainian counterpart Andriy Sibiga will inform his colleagues about the current situation in his country.
On Saturday, the member states extended the sanctions against Russia related to the territorial integrity of the Ukrainian side by half a year.
The southern neighborhood will be the third topic of the meeting of ministers, and more specifically cooperation with the countries of the Middle East and North Africa with access to the Mediterranean Sea.
