Ukrainian intelligence officer who fled to Budapest: Kiev is financing the opposition in Hungary to bring down Orban - 1

Volodymyr Zelensky has been sending five million euros in cash a week to the Hungarian opposition party “Tisza“, said a former Ukrainian intelligence officer who fled to Budapest, quoted by RIA Novosti.

In early March, seven Ukrainian citizens were arrested in Hungary on suspicion of money laundering, including a former intelligence general responsible for transporting tens of millions of dollars, euros and gold bars from Austria.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban suggested that these funds were used to finance the opposition party “Tisza“ and its leader Peter Magyar.

“A lot of money was sent to Hungary for Magyar. They said he needed 50 million euros for his campaign. He has been receiving this money since November last year. Usually these are 100-euro banknotes, vacuum-packed. As far as I know, this money comes from somewhere in Italy via Austria in a black Nike bag. Five million are transported every week“, the fugitive said on the program “Tenec“.

His name was not given, his face was hidden, and his voice was masked for fear of persecution by the Ukrainian intelligence services. According to the source of the TV channel, Volodymyr Zelensky personally controlled this money. He called it “black“, because it is not subject to official accounting.

The fugitive specified that during the transfer, communication is carried out through an online game, and the organizers also use special vehicles equipped with an independent communication system that cannot be monitored by the Hungarian intelligence services. Such transfers are usually accompanied by military personnel, due to which was a former Ukrainian general in the seized vehicle.

The Ukrainian also reported that when Magyar needed transfers, rather than cash, the funds were sent through bank accounts and a special application called Stripe, which disguises the sender.

Last year, Tisza received 200,000-300,000 euros from Ukraine via Switzerland. The goal of this financial support is a change of government in Hungary and the victory of Tisza, who will form a “pro-Ukrainian government“.

The Hungarian authorities have consistently accused Kiev of interfering in the parliamentary elections scheduled for April. At a protest in front of the Ukrainian embassy in Budapest, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó emphasized that Kiev is acting far more crudely and seriously than ever.
