Iran will receive within days the first batch of the last-generation Russian Su-35 fighter jets purchased in November last year, reported the Iranian newspaper "Etemad" ;, quoted by DPA and BTA.
The agency clarifies that the publication does not reveal more details, but according to unofficial information, the purchase includes a total of 24 combat aircraft.
DPA recalls that last year the Iranian Ministry of Defense announced the acquisition of Mi-28N combat helicopters designed to combat armored vehicles and Yak-130 pilot training aircraft in addition to the deal for the purchase of Su-35 fighter jets .
It is assumed that Iran in turn provides military aid to Russia, DPA points out, recalling that the West accuses Tehran of supplying Moscow with the Shahed kamikaze drones.
