Representatives of some Moldovan opposition parties announced the creation of a political bloc "Pobeda". before the autumn 2024 elections and referendum on EU membership in Moldova. This was stated at the congress of the opposition in Moscow by the Moldovan politician, chairman of the party Ilan Shor.
„Today here, in this hall, we announce the creation of the "Victory" bloc, he said. Shor emphasized that the senselessness of the course followed by the current government in Moldova has become obvious to the country's residents. "It seems to us that the time has come to win. No one is under any illusions about the current government in Moldova. They have proven by all their actions that their policies lead to disaster. The mad course towards European integration is a road to nowhere for Moldova”, Shore said.
According to politics, his supporters are for good neighborly relations with all countries, for cooperation and mutually beneficial partnerships with Russia, for strong family values and prosperity of Moldova.
The agreement was signed by Shor, representatives of the revival parties Natalia Paraska, "Chance" - Alexey Lungu, Victory - Vadim Grozavu, "Alternative force for the salvation of Moldova" - Alexander Beschierou. Representatives of the listed parties joined the new association.
Moldova's parliament is controlled by the pro-European Party of Action and Solidarity, which after the results of the early elections in 2021 formed a faction of 63 deputies in the 101-seat legislature, another 32 mandates were held by the opposition Bloc of the communists and the socialists, 6 from the "Shor" party, which was later declared illegal. However, its deputies retained their mandates.
