„I believe that a two-state solution is achievable, but it requires solving the Palestinian question. I believe it is possible to have a Palestinian state, provided there are mandatory security guarantees for Israel,” he said.
The head of the American foreign policy department stressed that Washington is “fully committed to the need to guarantee the security of Israel”. “And I am convinced that there is a way to put Palestine on the path to statehood in a way that demonstrates that it will not be something that Israel has to fear,” added Blinken.
