Russian President Vladimir Putin heard reports from Acting Minister of Emergencies Alexander Kurenkov and Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov regarding the collapse of the entrance to a residential building in Belgorod in the result of an "attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU)".
This was stated to reporters by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, broadcast "Izvestia", quoted by FOCUS.
"President Vladimir Putin listened to the reports of the Minister of Emergencies Kurenkov and the Governor of the Belgorod Region Gladkov about the situation surrounding the destroyed entrance of a residential building in Belgorod as a result of a barbaric rocket attack by the Kyiv regime,'' Peskov said.

In his words, the Russian president has given all the necessary instructions.
Earlier on Sunday, Gladkov announced that two dead people were pulled out from under the rubble of the house.
According to reports in the Russian media, on May 12, Belgorod was subjected to a massive attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, as a result of the fall of rocket fragments on a residential building, the entire entrance from the 10th to the 1st floor collapsed. At least 19 victims are known.
In addition, a second collapse occurred during the clearing of the rubble: the roof of the high-rise collapsed, injuring three rescuers. Meanwhile, Russia's Emergencies Ministry noted that a so-called "minute of silence" is being held during search and rescue operations, which allows victims under the rubble to be heard.
