Lithuania's first diplomat, Gabrielus Landsbergis, expressed serious concern about Russia's recent actions in the Baltic Sea. According to a Reuters report, Russia has proposed changes to the limits of its territorial waters in the area, a move that Landsbergis described as a direct challenge to both the European Union and NATO, BTA reports.
On the social media platform "X" Landsbergis explained the situation by describing it as a "hybrid operation" of Russia. He explained that the aim appears to be to instill fear, uncertainty and doubt about Russia's intentions in the Baltic Sea region.
