The German army plans to use the app for short videos "TikTok" for the recruitment of new recruits, DPA reported, quoted by BTA, quoting a statement of the Ministry of Defense of the country from yesterday.
"To compete with the best minds, the use of "TikTok" is absolutely imperative," said a spokeswoman for the Bundeswehr. To that end, at the end of this month, recruitment boards are starting to implement a new application-based approach, using a purpose-built program.
According to the spokeswoman, whom DPA did not name, "it is essential that the Bundeswehr reaches out to young people in a place where they can get information and exchange ideas digitally.
