Eight Israeli soldiers were killed in an explosion in the southern part of Gaza, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA, citing the Israeli military.
The Israeli army does not report details about the dead, but earlier the Islamist group “Hamas” announced that its fighters had killed and wounded scores of Israeli soldiers in an ambush on an armored personnel carrier in the southern city of Rafah.
