Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has accused his Democratic vice presidential rival Kamala Harris that she stole the initiatives of his platform, especially the idea of repealing the tip tax for service workers, TASS reported.
„Kamala Harris' honeymoon is coming to an end, she's starting to lose badly in the polls and has just copied my “no tax on tips” policy. The difference is that she will not implement it, but only needs it for political purposes. It was Trump's idea, she has no ideas of her own, she can only steal them from me,”, he wrote on his page on the social network Truth Social.
On Saturday, Harris at a rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, spoke about eliminating tip taxes in the country. She also promised to take measures to reduce prices in the United States.
Trump has previously spoken out repeatedly in favor of eliminating taxes on tips.
The presidential elections in the country will be held on November 5.
