The ban on the export of gasoline from Russia has been extended by a decision of the Russian government until the end of the year, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.
According to the reasons for the decision, it was taken to “maintain a stable situation on the fuel market during the period of preserved seasonal demand and planned repairs” of production facilities.
The ban does not apply to supplies under intergovernmental agreements, to fuel carried by citizens for personal use, and to international humanitarian aid.
Earlier, experts predicted to TASS that the ban could be lifted in November-December.
A similar ban was in effect from March 1 to August 31, but was temporarily lifted from late May to July.
The restrictions were first introduced in September 2023, when they also applied to diesel fuel.
