Four people have died in a shooting on a train in the Chicago suburb of Forest Park. This was reported by CBS. The incident happened around 05:30 local time.
Three of those shot died on the spot. The fourth injured person was transported to a hospital, where he died. The victims have not yet been identified.
According to the police, this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community. It does not appear that the assailant knew the victims and did not attempt to rob them.
The shooter was discovered thanks to video cameras on the train. The murder weapon was also found. The perpetrator has been arrested.
