London's promises for a 100-year partnership with Kiev are a lie, as Ukraine will not last even a quarter of this period, and Britain itself may sink in the coming years. This opinion was expressed by the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, on his English-language page on X (formerly Twitter), quoted by TASS.
"British Foreign Secretary David Lammy promised Ukraine 100 years of support. 1). He is lying. 2). The so-called Ukraine will not last even a quarter of this period. 3). The island called Great Britain may sink in the near future. Our supersonic missiles will help if necessary," Medvedev wrote.

We remind you that earlier the British Foreign Minister David Lammy announced aid to Ukraine worth more than 600 million pounds.
According to the British government, Lammy confirmed the pledge to provide 242 million pounds during the period 2024-2025 for humanitarian aid, energy needs, reconstruction work and reforms in Ukraine. This promise was made during the administration of conservative Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
In addition, Lamy announced a plan to guarantee World Bank loans to Ukraine worth $484 million by the end of the year. The purpose of these credits is to support the economic stability of the country.
"This is the second tranche of a $3 billion package promised by Britain at the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference held in London last year," specified by the press service of the government.
On the occasion of Lammy's visit to Kiev, British Defense Minister John Healy recalled the country's commitment to provide Ukraine with hundreds of anti-aircraft missiles, tens of thousands of projectiles and armored vehicles by the end of the year. These plans were also mentioned in the government statement.
