Serbian diplomat from the consular department in Germany was attacked by two Albanians at the airport in Munich, reports the Serbian TV station RTS. The two men pounced on the diplomat after hearing him speak in Serbian, BTA quoted.
According to unofficial information received by RTS, after an exchange of remarks and a verbal attack, a physical altercation ensued.
The diplomat managed to defend himself, as he knows martial arts, and one of the attackers tried to escape. The Serbian diplomat caught up with him and informed the German police.
The incident happened on Saturday, but the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia refused to comment until all the circumstances surrounding the case are established.
