A Russian attack that took place overnight left one person dead in the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye and at least four people, including two children, were injured, Reuters reported, citing today's announcement by local emergency services, quoted by BTA.
Meanwhile, in the central Poltava region, Russian attacks damaged energy infrastructure, leaving around twenty towns without electricity, local authorities said today.
Damage was also caused to homes in the district, but no one was injured, the Poltava Regional Military Administration specified in the "Telegram" application.
Earlier today, the Ukrainian Air Force announced that last night Russia directed 81 drones and fired 4 missiles at Ukrainian territory.
Ukraine's Air Force announced in a statement on "Telegram" that its air defenses shot down 66 of these drones, but lost track of 13 of them in several Ukrainian regions.
