Odessa and the southern part of Odesa region were attacked with drones, reported local channels in "Telegram", reported BTA.
In Odessa and Izmail loud explosions are heard. The air alert was announced at 11.40 p.m.
All citizens should hide in the shelters until the alarm goes off, urged regional governor Oleg Kiper.
According to information on the local channels in the application "Telegram" the drones are maneuvering in the southern part of the district - Izmail, Reni, Bolgrad, Kilia, Tarutino and Artsiz.
Bulgarians in Odesa Region number over 150,000 people and are the third largest according to the official census in Ukraine in 2001. In the city of Odesa itself live about 50-60 thousand Bulgarians. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
