Musk: Harris victory will lead to severe media censorship - 1

Victory of the Democratic candidate and current vice president Kamala Harris in the US presidential election in November could lead to a major tightening of media censorship in the United States. This opinion was expressed on Saturday by businessman Elon Musk at a meeting with voters in Pennsylvania in support of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

„I believe we will face serious censorship if the Kamala Harris regime comes in,” Musk said. Great efforts are being made to establish censorship under the pretext of fighting disinformation.“

"Musk believes that his company's technology is a decade ahead of the global space industry, including the developments of China, Russia and NASA,", Trump said for his part.

During the event, Trump spoke about his conversation with Musk about the controlled landing of the Super Heavy launch vehicle, which allowed the prototype Starship spacecraft to be launched into orbit. “I asked him if anybody could do something like that,” Trump said, “He said nobody could do that, everybody is 10 years behind.“

On October 13, SpaceX was able to perform a controlled return to Earth of the Super Heavy launch vehicle for the first time. In about eight minutes, the rocket descended from an altitude of more than 100 km and made a soft landing on a special Mechazilla platform installed on the site of the spaceport in Boca Chica (Texas). About 4 million people watched the launch live.

According to the plans of the developer company, the Starship space system will be universal and can be used in various versions for manned flights in low Earth orbit, launching satellites and carrying out missions to the Moon and Mars, as well as to more distant heavenly bodies. The Super Heavy reusable booster and Starship are expected to make a vertical landing on Earth. According to the current project, the total height of the space system is 121 m (car - 50 m, accelerator - 71 m), diameter - 9 m, payload - 100-150 tons.
