At least five people were injured and 115 evacuated after a fire broke out at a spa hotel in Bavaria, southern Germany, Bild newspaper reports.
According to her information, a fire broke out in the staff building of a four-star hotel. Five people suffered minor to moderate injuries such as burns and smoke inhalation. Two people injured their ankles after jumping from a window.
All the injured were taken to the nearest hospitals. Hotel guests were evacuated as a precaution. The fire did not affect the building.
At the moment, work on extinguishing the fire continues. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire have not yet been determined. An investigation is underway.
