The next plan to end the conflict around Ukraine, proposed by Volodymyr Zelensky, does not correspond to the situation on the battlefield, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with the NTV channel. “Now Zelensky offers different formats, different plans for peace negotiations, which are more like slogans. And these proposals, most importantly, today do not correspond to what is happening on the ground”, Lukashenko said.
According to the observations of the Belarusian leader, recently in the United States and Europe, after assessing the situation on the battlefield, “they want peace more than Zelensky himself”.
Moscow has repeatedly emphasized that Russia continues a special military operation to achieve its goals, but at the same time remains open to negotiations. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that any outcome of the conflict must be in Russia's favor and based on the realities of the battlefield. He said that at the moment there are no significant negotiations with Kiev, the Ukrainian side refuses this.
