One person died and at least nine people were injured in a nighttime attack by drones in Odessa, the chairman of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, announced in the "Telegram" application, quoted by BTA.
The deceased is a 46-year-old man. Six of the injured have been hospitalized.
Emergency services continue to work to eliminate the consequences of the night attack.
The Bulgarian community in Odesa Oblast numbers over 150,000 people and is the third largest in the region according to the 2001 Ukrainian census. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odessa itself, with the largest compact Bulgarian population concentrated in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
