The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the city of Pokrovsk, where some of the the most intense battles with the Russian army, reported Ukrinform, quoted by BTA.
"Pokrovsk. I visited the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade “Sicheslav“, which defends the city. I talked to the defenders and presented them with awards. This is a tense and challenging direction. It is only thanks to the strength of our warriors that the East is not completely occupied by Russia. Every day we oppose the enemy," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel.
While handing out awards to Ukrainian servicemen, the president expressed his gratitude to them. "Without you, Ukraine would certainly not have survived. I am grateful for your courage and experience," emphasized Zelensky.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army stated that only yesterday the Ukrainian Defense Forces repulsed 32 enemy attacks in the Pokrovsky sector.
