Today, in Kharkiv region, northeastern Ukraine, the Russian army carried out a missile strike, killing three people and wounding three others. Among the victims were two women aged 67 and 65 and a 33-year-old man, BTA reports.
The strike was carried out in the village of Shevchenkove in the Kupyansky district. According to initial information, the strike was carried out with "Iskander-M" missiles used against civilians, Ukrainian police reported.
Damage to private homes
As a result of the missile strike, significant damage was caused to more than ten private homes in the area. This is the second serious incident in the region in a short period, as the conflict in Ukraine continues to claim civilian casualties.
Investigation and consequences
Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, confirmed the loss of three lives and added that one of the wounded died during transportation to the hospital. According to police, security forces are working to clarify all the circumstances surrounding the attack.
