Former US President from the Democratic Party Bill Clinton, aged 78, was admitted to hospital last night due to a high fever, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA, citing his deputy chief of staff.
NBC television clarifies that the situation is not serious.
"President Clinton was admitted to the Georgetown University Medical Center for examinations and observation after he developed a fever," Angel Ureña wrote on the social platform "Ex".
"He is in good spirits and grateful for the care provided," the publication added.
The 42nd President Clinton was the head of the United States from 1993 to 2001.
