At least 10 people were killed and dozens were injured late tonight in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA, citing local medics.
Five people were killed and 20 were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, medics said.
In another attack, five journalists were killed when their van was hit near the "Al Awda" hospital. The journalists worked for the "Hamas" affiliated "Al Quds Al Youm" television station. Palestinian media and local reporters said the van was marked as a media vehicle and was used by journalists covering the situation at the hospital and the Nuseirat refugee camp.
There was no immediate comment from Israel, Reuters noted.
The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas and Israel traded accusations on Monday over the failure of efforts to reach a ceasefire despite progress in recent days.
