The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of February 24, 2022 exceed 1 million people killed and wounded, according to TASS calculations.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2022 amounted to 118.5 thousand people, and in 2023 - 405.4 thousand servicemen.
In 2024, according to information published by the Russian military department in reports, materials from the final collegium and a briefing by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Kiev lost more than 595 thousand people killed and wounded, which exceeds the total losses for the first two years of the special operation.
