One person died and seven others were injured today after an electric pickup truck “Tesla“ caught fire and exploded outside the hotel of US President-elect Donald Trump in Las Vegas, authorities reported, quoted by the Associated Press and BTA.
Las Vegas police and Clark County Fire Department officials said at a press conference that a person was killed in the vehicle and that they were working to remove the body.
Seven other people nearby suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
A county spokeswoman said in a statement that the fire in the area of Trump's hotel in Las Vegas was reported at 8:40 a.m. morning local time.
