In early December, the Daily Wire reported that the Biden administration had been auctioning off materials for the border wall with Mexico at an extremely low price in the last weeks of its term in office, in an attempt to harm the newly elected President Donald Trump.

According to photos provided by the publication, the price of each large batch of steel materials at the auction starts at just five dollars. The wall, designed to stem the flow of illegal immigrants, was Trump's pet project but remains unfinished due to opposition from Democrats, including Biden.
