Russian forces have shot down six US ATAKMS missiles launched from Ukraine over the Bryansk region in the past 24 hours, as well as eight British "Storm Shadow" missiles, two of which were launched over the Black Sea, Russian state media reported, citing information from the Defense Ministry. The data was disseminated by Russian agencies and reported by Reuters and BTA.
The Defense Ministry said that Russia would take retaliatory measures against these attacks, Interfax news agency reported.
At the same time, Russian state media reported that Moscow's forces had captured the villages of Neskuchne and Terni in the eastern Donetsk region.
Reuters said it could not independently confirm the information about the fighting.
