At least two people were killed and 19 were wounded on March 17 in Israeli airstrikes in the vicinity of the southern Syrian province of Daraa, News.bg reports.
The information was reported by the Syrian state news agency SANA and quoted by "Reuters".
The Israeli army confirmed the attacks, specifying that they were targeted at military sites containing weapons and equipment. This is the latest in a series of strikes targeting military infrastructure in Syria.
Last week, Israeli aircraft carried out several attacks on barracks and posts of the former Syrian army in Daraa. At least six airstrikes reportedly hit a base in the town of Jabab, and eight more - a former army base in the town of Izraa.
