India has no intention of escalating the conflict with Pakistan, but it will give a firm response if Islamabad launches a military attack. This was stated by Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, quoted by RIA Novosti, reports Focus.
“We have no intention of aggravating the situation in relations with Pakistan. But if a military attack is carried out against us, there should be no doubt that a very, very firm response will follow“, Jaishankar stressed during the opening of the meeting of the joint Indian-Iranian commission in New Delhi.
