A curfew has been imposed in several areas of Los Angeles, but despite the ban, hundreds of protesters against the immigration policy of the US authorities remain on the streets of the city and continue to express their dissatisfaction.
Some of them leave graffiti on buildings, and the police have not yet intervened.
The protesters are handing out individual kits with water, masks, gloves, snacks and napkins to anyone who wants them.
Last night, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said that she wants to talk to US President Donald Trump after the deployment of Marines and National Guard personnel there, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
„I want him to understand the significance of what is happening here“, Bass said at a news conference.
She added that the curfew in Los Angeles would remain in effect for as long as necessary.
