Dozens of flights to airports in the Middle East were canceled after Israel's air strikes on military and nuclear sites in Iran, world agencies reported, quoted by BTA.

"Air France" (Air France) announced that it was suspending flights between Paris and Tel Aviv after the Israeli strikes on Iranian territory.

"Due to the closure of Israeli airspace, the airline has suspended its flights to and from Tel Aviv until further notice," a spokesman for the French airline told AFP. Affected customers can exchange their tickets free of charge.

Dutch airline KLM has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until at least July 1, and a spokesman for Polish airline LOT said the carrier would not use Iranian airspace for its flights to Asia.

German airline "Lufthansa" announced today that it had suspended all flights to and from Tehran following large-scale Israeli strikes on Iran.

"Lufthansa Group" flights to and from Tehran will be suspended until further notice due to the current situation," the company said, adding that it would also avoid Iranian, Iraqi and Israeli airspace for the time being.

"ITA Airways" (ITA Airways) also announced that it was suspending flights to Tel Aviv until July 31, and Greek carrier "Aegean Airlines" announced on its website that it was canceling all flights to and from Tel Aviv.

Russian airline "Aeroflot" announced that it had canceled flights between Moscow and Tehran and made changes to its routes in the Middle East.

"Emirates Airlines" announced that it had canceled flights to and from four countries – Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Iran due to the current situation.

The airline informed that it will not accept transit passengers via Dubai whose final destination is one of these countries until further notice.

Syrian Airlines also announced a temporary suspension of all flights to and from the UAE and Saudi Arabia due to the temporary closure of the airspace of Jordan and Iraq as a result of the current tension in the region.

The airline explained in a post on its official Facebook page that it is monitoring the development of the situation and will announce the possible resumption of services.
