Iran is ready to conclude an agreement that guarantees that there will be no nuclear weapons, the country's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said at a meeting with foreign diplomats in Tehran.
Israel's attack is aimed at disrupting negotiations on Iran's nuclear program, and Tehran regrets that the United States supported it, he said.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry does not believe the US claims that it was not involved in the attack on the republic.
Iran is ready to stop striking Israel if the Jewish state stops its aggression, the diplomat added.
"Our defense is completely legitimate. "If the aggression stops, naturally our retaliatory actions will also stop," he said.
Israel crossed a red line in international law by attacking Iran's nuclear facilities, Araghchi said.
