The actions of the United States and Israel have become a dangerous attack on the authority of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and Iran's right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, Nebenzia said.
„The actions of the United States and Israel directly violated the UN Charter, resolutions of the Security Council, as well as the IAEA Statute and the relevant resolution of the General Conference of the agency. They constitute a direct and extremely dangerous attack on the authority of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, in particular, on Iran's right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, including uranium enrichment, guaranteed by Article 4 of the Treaty, and are a painful blow to the non-proliferation regime“, he said at the meeting.
