Preliminary intelligence assessments provided to European governments indicate that Iran's highly enriched uranium stockpiles remained largely intact after US airstrikes on three nuclear sites last weekend. This was reported by two officials quoted by the Financial Times.
According to them, intelligence suggests that about 408 kg of uranium enriched to a level close to weapons-grade was not stored primarily at Fordow, but was dispersed in various locations.
Earlier, experts claimed that this uranium was stored at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan before the start of the war with Iran on June 13.
US President Donald Trump rejected the claims yesterday, saying that Iran did not have time to move its uranium before the US attack, which he described as "extremely rapid and devastating".
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced today that he had no intelligence information indicating that Iran had moved the highly enriched uranium before the strike.
Fears are mounting! Iran's uranium stockpiles likely unaffected by US airstrikes
