The world today lives "by the laws of the jungle", and the Gaza Strip has been subjected to severe military aggression for a year and nine months. This was stated by the Ambassador of Palestine to Bulgaria Nasri Abu Jayesh on the air of the Bulgarian National Television (BNT), reports News.bg.
According to him, Israel's actions in the region constitute mass extermination and genocide against the Palestinian population. The diplomat was categorical that "Palestinian blood" is the price paid for the political and personal interests of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Abu Jaish also referred to recent statements by Pope Francis, according to whom international and humanitarian law are no longer able to impose justice in cases such as the Palestinian cause.
The ambassador stressed that in the Gaza Strip, access to food and medicine is systematically blocked by Israeli forces, and the humanitarian situation remains critical.
