Russian President Vladimir Putin is participating in the BRICS summit in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro via video link.
“The unipolar system of international relations, which served the interests of the so-called golden billion, is becoming a thing of the past. It is being replaced by a fairer multipolar world“, he noted.
“BRICS significantly outperforms the G-7 - the former “big” seven, representing a third of the Earth's landmass, almost half of the planet's population and 40% of the world economy. Trade is increasingly being conducted not in dollars, but in national currencies. The model of liberal globalization is dying out. The center of business activity is shifting“, Putin emphasized.
“Together we are a colossal, indestructible force in our uprightness and internal unity“.
This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the forum of the All-Russian Popular Front in Moscow.
“I am very grateful to the millions of people for whom the motto “Everything for Victory!“ has become a call and a guide to action“, the president said.
Putin drew applause when he mentioned the destroyed enemy equipment worth $2 billion, destroyed by drones in the combat zone.
“Let the taxpayers of Western countries hear these figures and think about where their governments are spending their people's money,“ the Russian leader noted.
