The Kremlin does not rule out the possibility of a meeting between Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in China in September, if the American leader visits the country at the same time as the Russian president. This was reported by Agence France-Presse, citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, BTA reports.
Putin plans to visit China for the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, which will take place in September.
“If it happens that the American president decides to go to China at this time, then such a meeting cannot be ruled out in theory“, Peskov said during his daily briefing, which was also attended by a representative of Agence France-Presse.
