A fire broke out in a building of the multi-profile hospital “Sotiria“ in Athens, reports newsit. The signal was submitted by the medical institution, located on “Mesogeon“ Boulevard, after which the fire crews responded immediately, reports Focus.
The fire started in the pathology department on the first floor. According to data from the scene, 30 firefighters with 10 vehicles, including a specialized vehicle with a lifting ladder, are involved in extinguishing the fire.
At least six fire engines and two emergency teams have arrived at the hospital.
The causes of the fire have not yet been established. There are no reports of injuries so far.
